Game 2 Western Conference Finals: Lakers 124, Suns 112

Ice Cube - It Was A Good Day by DJ Decko

I love the atmosphere of an NBA playoff game. The intensity of the players and the fans is kicked up a notch and it's sure to be an exciting time. Bruce gets the opportunity to purchase tickets a day before they go live, so we took advantage to see our beloved Lakers in action along with Brittany and Michael. I went to Game 1 of the WCF last year which was more exciting only because the Lakers played uphill the whole game, but this outing was more eventful, especially since the game started early.

Downtown LA bound with Brucey. Purple and gold all day.

We got there 2 hours early so we could get happy hour appetizers at Yardhouse at LA Live. Pizza, nachos, and sliders. My 3 faves!

I saw this crazy character there too and I had to take a photo. The one and only Vic the Brick. FEELING YOU!!

Took a picture with the brand new Chick Hearn statue. We miss you Chick!

Damn our seats were SICK! COURTSIDE BABY!

Just kidding. We had the nosebleeds. But don't let it fool you. Staples Center is tall, but not wide, so you can still see all of the action. Coincidentally, we were 1 section over from last years game. Striving for consistency.

The Lakers are certainly playing with purpose right now.

Tipoff!

We didn't get free shirts, but we got these awesome thunder sticks! I think Michael misses Barbara though. ::sad face::

Bruce and Brittany.

Sumopup!

KOBE! MVP! MVP! MVP! MVP!

A couple friends were also in attendance too. Jason and Kim. Thanks for the beer Kim!

Jinny Lee!

Boom boom Pau. Gasol had a dominating game.

Bitchass Dudley. GTFOH!!
(On Dudley's ability to get the foul call)
Bruce: "Dudley minored in drama."
Me: "Dudley minored in being a bitch. T[technical] HIM UP!"

Game over! WE WANT BOSTON! ::clap clap, clap clap clap::

Final score.

We took a picture with the Black Mamba himself. I also purchased that giant finger. It's pretty damn awesome.

On our way out we saw Elmo. Bruce got to snap a picture. He tried to give him $1, but Elmo insisted that his photographs were worth $5. Reminds me of You Got Served.

Streetlights.

Then we got dinner at Beverly Tofu House. Bruce and I had trouble locating the spot.
Michael: "What are you blind? You couldn't find the giant red sign?!"
Bruce: "We can't read f*cking Korean!!"
Toush Bruce.

Barley tea and appetizers.

Main course.

Good times guys. Hopefully we can get some tickets to the finals too. LET'S GO LAKERS!
