Today I headed down to San Diego with Bruce, Earl, Stephen, and Jasmine to watch the Chargers take on the Atlanta Falcons. It would be my first Chargers game, and the first time I've actually attended a football game since high school. We picked this particular game because Bruce wanted to check out fellow BC alumni Matt Ryan in action. He's been tearing it up as of late.
This is gameday. Bruce picked up these tickets on Stubhub for less than face value. Nice.
We get down to SD around 11:30am, but we needed to grab some food. We were a little too late to meet up with the Wildboyz at D4 for the tailgate party. Maybe next time guys.
With no grill on hand, we kept it simple and grabbed some Costco pizza, hot dogs, and a pack of Coronas. Check out our makeshift cooler. Straight hood sh*t.
Last minute tailgating beats no tailgating at all.
Making our way to the stadium. That bottle is gonna come back to haunt him.
Did you know that Brett Favre played for the Atlanta Falcons? This guy did.
VIOLATORS! No glass on the premises. This almost ruined the day. But the cops were pretty nice about it and stressed that it's not a big deal and to enjoy the game.
The Q.
We were at field level seats, section F10, row 23. The view was awesome.
Bruce, Jasmine, Earl.
Bruce was getting a lot of crap from one of the "less restrained" (read as "drunk") Charger fans for rocking this jersey. And then the same fan would ask for a high five as a peace treaty. Sure guy.
Matty Ice.
The view from the 5-yard line.
Earl, Me, Stephen. Damn I got dark!
One of the Chargers last possessions. WE'RE ONLY DOWN BY 6!
Fail. We couldn't convert. You win Bruce. We left the game at the 2-minute warning to beat some of the traffic.
Good game, but an unfortunate result. Chargers fall to 4 and 8.
Afterwards I dropped by 5&A Dime to pick up some things and headed back to Anaheim. Sorry San Diego. God doesn't want me to hang out with you anymore.

Bummed: Engine Failure
Once again, my plans have been foiled to chill in SD. The plan was to go down and help out at 5&A Dime, check out Alvin's new pad, kick it with the homies at U-31, sleep, and tailgate at the Chargers game. I was also gonna pick up some furniture at my old apartment, so I took my dad's car down.
I made my way down in the afternoon and was able to get to Univ. I got to talk to Tim whom I haven't seen since he and his wife had the baby. I also ran into Billy aka IrisWildcat (NSB.org). Thanks for another promo code! I will definitely put it to good use.
Also much thanks to Nash for the hookup on my new Brixton hooligan. Be ready for his album coming out late Janurary.
He also hooked it up with this freebie. Hah. Who would have thought this would come into fruition in the form of an actual drink? I did. (See Honesty Party post.)
Here's where I get fucked. Well first, this is my new camera (Canon Powershot SD790) which is the same one Cesar got recently. I needed this for the time lapse feature and thought it would be cool to try this out. Put it on my mini-tripod and set off for San Diego.
I really like how this video turned out because it looks so silky smooth. Here is the drive from Anaheim Hills, to Univ in Encinitas, and then back on the road towards 5&A Dime. It's a pretty long video that isn't too interesting besides the fluidity of it. So if you don't wanna watch the whole thing, at least skip to the last 10 seconds.
Yea. I had to pull over. Right after the 805 and 5 junction, the car sorta jolts and then all the indicator lights go on in the dash. Then they all shut off along with the engine. I roll forward and pull over to the left shoulder.
Fuck me. Goddamn battery. Kinda strange that it dies WHILE DRIVING??
So I call AAA and get a tow truck. After talking with my dad, we figured it was best to just take the car all the way back to Anaheim.
DAMN YOU CAR!
So basically I sit shotgun with the AAA driver and he's basically telling me some crazy stories (which I can't really share so publicly). I guess I'm kinda lucky that there weren't a lot of cars on the freeway when it happened. It could have been a lot worse.
I get home and eat dinner and watch the rest of Entourage Season 5. I guess that's another plus. And I'll be coming down tomorrow still with the rest of the crew for the Chargers x Falcons game still. Yipee.....
Pretty bummed out now. Goodnight.

Costco Drive x RoboCop
After Costco, I dropped Cesar and James back off at Cesar's house. We decided to try the new time lapse feature on Cesar's new camera. The song... well it's the only one that Cesar and James wanted to listen to on the drive so it fits right in with my random videos x Kanye song posts. Enjoy.
Whoville: The Costco Edition
I'm jacking this blog-title style from 5&A Dime.
We were supposed to grab lunch with just a few people at Rosine's down by my hill, but it somehow turned into a gigantic high school meetup at Costco. Everyone and their mom's were at Costco yesterday for Black Friday.
Jason, Arine, Michael.
Channy, James, Cesar.
Sejal. And she really was there with her mom.
Bruce.
Stephen.
Cesar aka Hancock.
Julia.
Rob Armani. He was buying half a gross of eggs and about 50 bottles of water. You DO NOT wanna fight this guy. He is ripped.
Jessica and Vic.
See that? Well that's love right there.
We of course spent the afternoon chillin' and enjoying pizza/hot dogs/chicken bakes at great prices. Costco is the hot spot for the crew.
