Freak the Fiesta! Beat Freaks @ 5&A Dime

Yesterday afternoon 5&A Dime hosted a little meet-n-greet fiesta with America's Best Dance Crew's Beat Freaks in the alleyway next door. Kids (and adults) were in line to meet their dance crew heroes (a few cried!). Along with the Beat Freaks, we had a live DJ, tacos, horchata, churros, and an endless supply of Powerade and Red Bull. And don't forget the pinata!

Chris was kind enough to prep all the food for the fiesta.


This thing was f*cking heavy.

I was following the Beat Freaks on their twitter to find that they were walking over from House of Blues. THEY'RE HERE! Escorted over by Toe-Knee.

And then we let the fans pour into the alley. Everyone got a chance to get stuff signed, take pictures, chat it up, and a dude even asked Maryss to prom!


Chris and Aldridge manned the food stations for a bit. Nice chefs coats!


A lot of the regular SD heads were around to kick it too. Good times.

Some of us wanted to get a picture with these awesome girls. I've been a little obsessed with the jump shot as of late, so I tried to get everyone into it here. Epic fail. Terry and Annabelle covered 5/7ths of the crew!!!
