SoHo/LES Shopping x Yankees x Coogan's: NYC Day 2

The weather in New York didn't seem promising. We checked the forecast to see that there would be rain/thunderstorms throughout the week. But on Thursday, there was only supposed to be about 30 minutes of downpour. So Stephen and I thought it would be a good idea to go shopping and then later check out the new Yankees Stadium.

The view from my cousin's 22nd floor condo. You can see the Statue of Liberty from this window (past the pink building in the middle).

Baller status living room. The Trump Towers are nice. This is our bedroom for the week.

After much lagging, we took the Path and NYC subways to the Lower East Side for some shopping and food. We ate at Noodle Bar on Orchard Street. Mee Siam noodles with beef. The noodles and sauce were good, but the beef tasted like it was boiled too long. It came with a green salad, a spring roll, and a taro roll which was excellent!

Stephen got BBQ Pork noodles.

We got pretty lucky. It started to rain hard while we were eating. So we were able to remain dry until it let up.

Shopping next. The first spot we went to was The Reed Space which I've see so many pictures of in the past. This spot was a must for me.

Jeff "Staple" Ng has definitely got his sh*t together. He puts a lot of details into what he does with his clothing, design, and his store.

LTB x Reed Space.

Went to American Apparel... Stephen REALLY wanted a new hoodie... What do you think?

Then on to Rivington and Clinton to check out the Alife stores. Very nice! ::drools at all the Jordans on the top row::

The Lower East Side.

We met up with my cousin later and went to SoHo to check out the Uniqlo store. We were there for a long time and didn't even finish shopping! Stephen ran into one of his friends from U of Michigan, Eugene.

Next stop: Yankee Stadium. We met up with Jason.

These were the cheapest seats available at the ticket booth. $60.00?!? COTDAMN!!! We should have bought them in advance. Fail. Why does it say "Foul Pole"?

Oh. That's why.... -__- Actually these seats weren't that bad.

The food cost a grip too. But you gotta eat right?

Jason likes the pizza. Stephen love the cock hotdog.

Teixeira should have stayed in Anaheim!

I love my cuzzie!

Founders of Learn To Be.

What One's Wearing.

Overall it was actually an exciting game. A few late homeruns kept it interesting in the last few at-bats.

Stephenwockee.

Afterwards we went to Washington Heights to sing and dance like in the musical to check out Jason's favorite local pub, Coogan's.

USNAVY!

Blehhhhh. Patron shots.

All day Jason talked about the mac 'n cheese. It was pretty good I suppose. You hyped it too much.

Sampler.

MVPing it up with some Splenda packets. Has anyone heard of the LeBomb James shot?

Then back to Jersey City to crash. New York.

Goodnight.
