Aug 16: San Francisco - Hart to Hart

A beautiful day in the city.

The next day after the wedding was the brunch held at Lindsay and Emmanuel's old apartment (they're moving out in a week).

I was still a bit hungover and was not a blogging mood. But here are a few shots of the outdoor scenery.

Most of our friends already left San Francisco since it was the end of the weekend, but I had taken a few extra days off to spend time with my "cuzzie" (her mom is my godmother), Jennifer. A little background on the story of our names. Our parents named myself (Jonathan) and Jennifer after the main characters of Hart to Hart:
Jonathan Hart (Robert Wagner) was a self-made millionaire and the CEO of Hart Industries, a global conglomerate. His wife Jennifer (Stefanie Powers) was a beautiful freelance journalist. Living the jetset lifestyle, the glamorous couple spent their free time as amateur detectives and in every episode they found themselves involved in cases of smuggling, theft, international espionage and, most commonly, murder.

Self-made millionaires who solve crimes in their spare time (not to mention the appropriate "jetset" reference for this past weekend). Our names are now cooler than your names.

After brunch, we went back downtown to grab our bags and check into the Marine's Memorial hotel, a spot reserved for veterans and those currently serving one of the armed forces. We were able to book a room thanks to my buddy Jenn(Bat). Along with our room came this hospitality card that granted us access to the gym, study room, museums, breakfast buffet, and most importantly the FREE happy hour from 4pm-6pm.

The restaurant/lounge was on the 12th floor. A stunning view from the wide open windows.

Complimentary crackers and pretzels w/ cheese.

And of course our complimentary drinks! We started at 5pm, but an hour was plenty of time to order 3 of these for each of us.

This was definitely the highlight of my weekend (haha sorry everyone else who got married and whatnot). Spending an hour with Jen for some major bonding time we never get to have. We shared stories and words of wisdom, We laughed, cried a little, and are closer than ever. Cheers!

After a few too many drinks, we took a much needed nap. We got dinner at Nob Hill Cafe (where I ate for my birthday earlier this year).

Garlic bread with parmesan and pesto.

Once again the pancetta pizza did not disappoint.

Jen also ordered the pizza minus the pancetta.

Love ya cuzzie!

Took a walk around the park.

Hart to Hart!

A good time with fam.

was that blurry monstrosity seriously the last picture you wanted to post? you had such high potential with that heart statue.

also, when you keep your photos that size with no links to larger ones, anything with thin text is unreadable. kbye.
